Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Projobly (“we”, “us”) builds an autonomous job application platform. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we use it.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: email address, name (optional), hashed password.
  • Resume content: the text of any resume you upload, plus any structured profile data extracted from it.
  • Application activity: which jobs we matched you to, which we tailored a resume for, and the status of any auto-applied applications.
  • Usage data: minimal logs (timestamps, errors) to debug the service.

3. What we don't collect

  • Your LinkedIn, Indeed, or job-site account passwords.
  • The content of unrelated emails in your inbox.
  • Any data you haven't given us directly.

4. How we use your data

We use your data only to:

  • Find jobs that match your profile.
  • Tailor your resume per job description.
  • Submit applications on your behalf (if you opt in).
  • Send you account notifications and application updates.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with recruiters. We do not train AI models on your resume.

5. Third-party services

We use Anthropic's Claude API for profile extraction, match scoring, and resume tailoring. Inputs sent to Anthropic are subject to their privacy policy. We do not opt your data into model training.

6. Your rights

You can at any time:

  • Download all data we hold about you.
  • Delete your account, which deletes your resume and applications.
  • Opt out of any feature you don't want (e.g. auto-apply).

7. Data retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal data within 30 days. Aggregate, anonymized statistics (e.g. total jobs in the index) may persist.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a CSRF token to protect form submissions. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we'll email registered users at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
